Meetme has flagged me several times in the las several months. This past week 3 times. No contact information is available for anyone to reach them at all. Pretty sad when all the accounts had a 3 month subscription for them. If that’s not verification I don’t know what to tell them. They can take your money and Flagg you at the same time with no explanation what so ever. It’s absolutely wrong what they are doing. I go on there to meet friends whether it be there or face to face. Also this verification that they use doesn’t even recognize you or they say try back later but have to verify who you are within 72 hours or they delete your account and you can never get it back. How messed up is that really messed up in my opinion.
Zero starsLadies, run if you read meetme somewhere!!! Like 70% are fake profiles including fake pics and information about a person. And those who aint fake are looking for cybersex or are mentally out of order. This was my worst experience ever in online dating! So do yourself a favour and use another dating app if you want to meet nice men!
They don't investigate any cases of scam, they do nothing to deter scammers from signing up. I could not find at least one genuine woman with good looks on MeetMe - just a bunch of scammers. Be very cautious with this site, it's better to avoid it!
I was on MeetMe from 2014 to 2019 when they permanently banned me without giving reason. I had always followed the rules but got suspended often anyway. Basically people get randomly flagged and suspended without it being investigated. It has happened to all of my friends on there as well. There's also a high level of sexual harassment towards women and trolling.
I got fed up with so many African scammers . I had at least 5 a day with stolen photos from USA women . They get very cunning too . I had at least 4 links a day to sex sites a day wanting my credit card details , Basically MeetMe is very poor at deleting fake accounts , fails to protect the above board user . I give it 1 out of 10
Worst app they take your account for absolutely no reason when you have rank and coins that you tried multiple times to convert and it wouldn't. I have contacted a lawyer for theft as they took something thay wasn't there's and that's my rank and coins.
I joined this site to meet people around where I live. I noticed that there were many people in my area in the age range I selected. However, on initiating chat with them, the vast majority (over 95%) wanted me to go to another site and sign up so I could chat with them. Why, when I can chat thru meetme already. I flagged them as spam. One person even advertised that she was promoting prostitution. When I sent feedback to meetme, I got the usual auto response. However, when I tried to log in the next morning,(I actually did chat with two people who were real) my account was blocked. I requested the confirmation code to unlock my account, it never came. It seems meetme would rather have all the spammers on there than legitimate people. Also, most of the ages and locations are way off from actuality. I chatted with one who's profile said she was around my age and lived near me. In reality, she was 20 years younger and lived across the country. There are hundreds of profiles from African countries which makes me believe they are using meetme to find victims to scam. Of course, the meetme staff doesn't seem to care about this.
Had an account for 2 days. A lot of the profiles are fake or catfish. The live chat streams are people between 21-50 generally who still have the mentality of high school kids.If you have a pulse or seek any type of substance in a conversation this is the wrong place.It's like a babysitter for self absorbed, narcissistic people. It got old fast.
