DO NOT use Meineke. They tried 3 different trips to recharge my AC. This was a lot of hassle to take the car there, 12 miles from my house, and have someone follow me, to leave my car overnight. Each time I picked it up, the AC was not blowing cold air, and I walked back in, and told them. Each time was a different excuse: 1) the machine is not working right. 2) We have new technicians. 3) You need a new compressor, we have worked up an estimate for you. This one was the real corker. They did not know how to fix it, and so they think i will pay over $1K for THEM to do it? I took the same car to Ben s Quality Auto in Puyallup. The diagnosed the AC problem - a wire had been half chewed up by a squirrel. They fixed it in half a day and it works fine. Meineke refuses to give me a refund for the work I paid for, but they never did. They charged me $233 for the AC recharge..... paid up front. But they refuse to refund it, even though i had to get the AC fixed at a different shop. I wrote the Store manager. Also the Regional manager, Brandon Cruz. And also the Corporate office in Charlotte, NC. NEVER HEARD ONE WORD OF RESPONSE. These people should not be in the car business.
