I started a new business from scratch in 2022 and didn't know anything. It was very important to be knowledgeable about taxes and structuring my business. I was provided with information that not only helped me in my business, but now I'm able to help others who are entrepreneurs and thinking about it. There were a team of associates that provided information from finance, credit, business structure, etc and they were available to assist if needed.The TAX information that I learned helped me in ways I didn't know existed. If I knew what I know now, I woud have started a business 20 years ago! I would have SAVED in excess of one hundred thousand dollars, plus! The tax benefits are for business owners and I gave the IRS too much money while a W2 employee. Learning about the W9 was was also a great benefit. It’s funny when I give people advise about tax strategies like home office deduction, 6k pound rule, hiring their kids. just to name a few of Carter's insights, EVEN CPA's DON'T believe me. Fortunately, I fired my family's CPA! 😊I learned the difference between a tax preparer and a tax strategist. Carter has equipment me with the tools to say "HOW CAN I WRITE THIS OFF", not can I write this off! So I guess you can say I learned a lot! 😁 I benefitted from the program tremendously. I also mapped out my network with the system they provided for financial literacy. I am more conscientious about taxes, finances and the overall advancement of my businessThere were other programs that I received help from also. The Monday calls with Tameka, bridged a gap for the group, because there were open discussions and information provided, to help us with other aspects of our business goals. Jamie was also instrumental in the education aspect, by curating guest speakers, who discussed their business experience and assisted us if needed, which was beneficial. Overall, the program was beneficial to me and my businesses..
