Listen, this app is a real heartbreak. I opened the grade book expecting a celebration, but instead, the end is near; and so I face the final curtain. I tried to type in words, but the server crashed faster than a bad hand at the craps table. I sat there shouting, "Luck be a lady tonight," just hoping the button would actually work, but no dice. I’ve had my fill, my share of losing, and honestly, trying to navigate this interface makes me feel like I’ve bit off more than I could chew.
When I finally got to the messaging tab to ask for help, I saw the teacher’s profile picture and thought, "L is for the way you look at me," but the charm ended there. I was hoping the tech support would fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars, but they just told me to restart my router. It’s a messy business, kid. I’ve lived a life that’s full, but I’ve spent half of it waiting for this home screen to load. I’ll keep trying to pass this class, and through it all, when the final bell rings, at least I can say I did it my way.
This suuucks I mean really sucks. It takes for ever.
And it is memboring and if you gave it a 5 star you are a dumb nerd. This should be band because how bad it is and how much it sucks!!😡
Membean has to be one of the worst, if not the worst, vocabulary learning program that exists. First, every question has a timer so someone who just happens to have a lower memory recall speed would get many questions wrong while still actually knowing the word, this entirely defeats to point of Membean's "adaptability". Second, I have encountered, many times, the issue of having a fill in the blank question where there are multiple words that would fit in but only one would work. This situation is stupid and easily preventable but the greedy, lazy owners of Membean cannot seem to fix it. Third, sometimes you will get questions that have a map of synonyms of a word, and you will have to guess the word based off of the synonyms. However, sometimes there will be antonyms and there is no marker to tell which ones are synonyms or antonyms so you won't be able to tell the definition of the word because Membean will send you in two opposite directions. Fourth, it can be very aggravating when you get a word wrong and it makes you sit, extra-long, waiting for the follow up question to load. This seems to only be the case for such follow up questions after you get a wrong answer. Fifth, even though they boast about being adaptable to learning pace, almost every session of Membean that I have done has been flagged saying "review pace too quick" and Membean still has not adapted to my learning pace. Also, Membean is just plain boring due to its bland user interface and its boring way of "teaching" where it just gives constant multiple-choice questions with a few questions where you might have to type the first three letters of a word. I get that learning does not have to be fun, but Membean is just so bland that it feels like trying to swim in mud just by going through a 15-minute session. Lastly, the weekly requirement is structured so that you have to do three, 15-minute session all on different days. This requirement makes it easy to forget to do causing many people to lose points towards their English class grade. Also this time requirement makes it difficult for people who have incredibly busy schedules most days and therefore only have time to do it one or two days of the week.
I was peacefully and graciously minding my business doing my membean homework,when suddenly the memboner ripped and tore through my moniter and started sliming me out frame one. But then the Slap baddie, pinch that hand string appeared walked in mid-meembeanming and started to beat up the classroom mid lecture about David and the entire class had an extreme 1v1 on Epsteins island against the memboner and
okay so i put this at 5 stars so you all can see this. my class was doing this for one year part of the teachers experiment and the experiment ended after 90% of the class went criminally insane and started hallucinating. i am one of the only survivors; r.i.p. all those who suffered in membean's grasp. the memboners have hacked the security cameras and are still watching me. run before it is too late.

It led to a series of humorous yet strange events that I didn't anticipate. Ultimately, it was a unique experience that I can't say I truly enjoyed, but it had its moments. I'd rate it a 6.7 out of 10, with mixed feelings.
