Totally life changing! When I approached menopause care I was desperate, I had struggled to get appointments at my GP surgery and when I did I was given sub par care and I didn’t feel understood. It was so refreshing to speak to someone who listened and understood my symptoms. I was really well supported to start HRT in a way that worked for me. A comprehensive letter was sent to my GP which meant I could continue the HRT via NHS prescription. After this I joined the plan to access the additional services and so I didn’t have to stress about the price tag of costly one off reviews, this really helped me budget. The service is easily accessible, empathetic and just amazing. It’s honestly been life changing, having struggled for so long before coming to menopause care. I wish NHS services received the funding and time needed to really give women the care they need but I’m glad menopause care was there for me.
