I’ve been supporting Mercy Bakery for a while now, donating monthly and even volunteering at some of their events, and I can honestly say I’ve never seen a non-profit more dedicated to their mission. Their work spans continents, bringing hope and sustenance to communities in desperate need. I’ve seen firsthand how they’ve made a real impact in Morocco, Pakistan, and Yemen, helping communities recover, rebuild, and thrive. It’s inspiring to see how they don’t just show up—they fully commit to the people they’re helping.Recently, they decided to bring their efforts home by launching a food truck for people in need here. I had the chance to assist at some of these local events, and watching them work up close is something I’ll never forget. The team is honest, trustworthy, and so passionate about what they do. They treat every person they help with respect and compassion, and it’s clear they’re doing this work from the heart.Mercy Bakery isn’t just another charity; they’re a lifeline, a source of hope, and a force for real change. I genuinely don’t think anyone could do this work better than they do, and they deserve all the support and recognition out there. Thank you, Mercy Bakery, for everything—you’re truly one of a kind!

Mercy Bakery was founded on the principle that people should have access to the most basic form of substance: bread.
With the mission to provide free public bakeries worldwide for those in need, the first Mercy Bakery opened in Sana’a, Yemen, in August 2018.
Our goal is to provide at least 28,000 loaves of bread a day to families in need, therefore providing a minimum of 840,000 loaves a month. Right now we give out just over 700,000 loaves per month, in addition to healthy meals provided by our Mercy Kitchens.
Our donors have continued to make this dream a reality and we have expanded to 10 bakeries in Yemen and our first international expansion to Kharian, Pakistan. We want to expand further, but are limited by our resources. We are grateful for the strides we are making with your support.See more
