Once again, I am let down by the authorities. I reported harassment from neighbors inciting violence against us both at home and in public spaces. Instead of taking action, they simply asked our harassers if they were doing it, which is as effective as asking a child if they broke something. They advised us to document the threats, but now they claim they can’t proceed without pictures. The goalposts keep shifting. Since this began in 2017, the authorities have sided with our accusers. After interviewing them in their home, they ignored our concerns. Recently, one of our tormentors led a group threatening us, but the authorities did nothing. However, when this individual initiated a fight, they dispatched six officers within minutes to protect her. It's baffling how they prioritize criminals while ignoring real victims.
