I was disappointed and frustrated by the completely inflexible policy. I had an 11:00 am evaluation scheduled and, due to unavoidable circumstances, I arrived at 11:04 am—just four minutes late. I understand the importance of punctuality, yet I was shocked that I was refused service for my evaluation. There was no grace period or consideration for my situation. The receptionist informed me that I had missed my appointment and would need to reschedule for a fee of $75. This was not a no-show but a genuine effort to be on time. The lack of empathy and flexibility was disheartening, especially for a first-time evaluation. Being charged $75 to reschedule added to my frustration. Policies are vital, but discretion and reasonable flexibility for clients are equally important. This experience made me feel like just a number, and my attempts to seek resolution afterward were met with unwillingness to accommodate. Future clients should be warned: even a minute late could result in refusal of service and additional charges.
