FIRST OF ALL THIS COMPANY IS NOT AT THE AIRPORT! Also there is no shuttle from LAX to this rental car company. It is inside a hotel with no access by shuttle. The lady in front of me and I overheard the employee asking for proof of insurance so she got hers. When she got up there he said you have to purchase our insurance unless you have a major credit card. She had a master card. He said that was not a major credit card. Who has ever heard that Mastercard wasn't a major card. When I got up to the counter I had a visa but they said I had to have a declaration for my insurance. I called my insurance company they sent proof of insurance which I had to wait 10 minutes for. He looked at it and said, no that's not the declaration page. I said but it's proof of insurance. He said, no you have to purchase our insurance. So I had to spend an additional $130. The car had all kinds of exterior damage to it. Missing light covers, etc. my guess is they fill claims on the insurance they make you purchase but don't actually get the car repaired. This company is a racket. Do yourself a favor and do not rent from them. I happened upon them because Priceline recommended them. My guess is they pay so much a month to be the top advertised through Priceline. Lastly, they do not share a shuttle with the hotel I'm sure because they do not share the expense of the shuttle for their customers so the hotel shuttle will NOT take you back to the airport.
