AVOID THIS BUSINESS

AVOID THIS BUSINESS! NO TRACKING NUMBER AND NO GLASSES! After a very lengthy delay, and an email saying that my glasses would be sent soon and that I would receive a tracking number (I still have not), I followed up over almost two weeks later and was told that my glasses had been delivered! Despite *multiple* requests for the tracking number, they have been able to provide one, and the ONLY “proof of delivery” is an extremely blurred photo of my verandah where there may be a small box - or it could be my husbands hiking boots! According to Mia Burton, I was supposed to sit at home after placing the order as they do not have a “signature on delivery” service. They have completely washed their hands of any responsibility to provide what I paid for. Unfortunately upon sorting their reviews by lowest, I see that there are many others with very similar experiences. EDIT: I should also mention that I placed the order due to my other glasses being broken - this has negatively affected my every day life for well over a month as I have no glasses - and it’s very disappointing that despite being several hundreds of dollars out of pocket, I’ll need to buy some more elsewhere!ON MIA BURTON’S RESPONSE:Before responding, Mia Burton actually had my review (exactly as it appears above) removed for “violation of guidelines / harmful comment”). - I find this concerning and telling in itself - they are having genuine reviews removed to keep their rating “high”. Thankfully, TrustPilot reinstated my review, but Mia Burton’s subsequent public facing response is hollow - they have already sent me the “proof of delivery” (e.g. one blurred photo with no sign of a box), and as stated above, they have completely denied any responsibility for the safe delivery of the glasses. The blurb about wanting “to make this right” is just that - an insincere invitation written for the benefit of other people reading their reviews. They had made it abundantly clear *before* I wrote my review, that as far as they are concerned the matter is closed. Certainly they could reach out to me if they had any genuine intention of taking responsibility for the situation.
