Maybe two years ago a Windows update caused a lot of havoc with wireless mice! That was a pain but it was eventually corrected. I had even forgotten all about it, until it happened again recently! Again, I did a Google search and found out that a lot of people were having the same problem. Tired two wireless mice, same problem, tried different ports, nothing helped. Eventually had to contact Microsoft and have now wasted a lot of time trying all the hacks they want me to try. They did owe up that this is their fault and that both the brands of my wireless mice are among the brands having problems, but so far nothing has helped. I am now very afraid of doing updates, because recently Samsung messed up a huge amount of phones, now Microsoft again messing up Windows... what on Earth is going on? I know people who therefore refuse to have anything to do with updates and have done for years. Companies have no pride in their brands anymore! As long as they know that they will always have customers, they could not care less and it is up to us to pay them a lot of money and pick up the pieces! No wonder when you contact the Microsoft Support Service you usually have over 60 people ahead of you and more often than not, even if you think that you are contacting the Technical Service, you never seem to be and it takes a while for them to tell you that you are not. All a huge mess! It has now been surely over one month since this started and no end in sight, so, for now, I use a very old, wired mouse!
