Milky Way trucking represents all the qualities that are endemic of this industry. I had a simple transaction - to ship a car from a dealer to my home (approx. 168 miles). I signed a contract with Milky Way as they had one of the best prices. On the day of my vehicle pick-up/delivery, they informed me the price was increasing by 150%. They had signed a contract with me but not secured a driver. This vehicle was a gift for my wife. so I paid and had the car shipped. The representative was very flippant with an excuse that can be summed up as - "that's how it is". Also - it is clear the drivers control pricing and not the brokers/agents so you are best to deal with one directly, if possible although very challenging. If you can't go into your transaction understanding that any pricing you get should just be disregarded as it has no basis in fact. As a side note - the representative that i worked with could really benefit from a few courses to improve his English. The icing on the cake, however, was the call I received the next morning (today) asking me to leave a 5 star review..... As I told him at one point during our conversation...."He is a joke."
