UPDATE:After seeing my negative review, Melissa promptly contacted me, asking what the problem was, after I had already explained the problem to her. She told me to resubmit my art, and that I would get a proof right away. I resubmitted the same day, then... nothing. I asked her to confirm she got the art... nothing. I messaged her on Etsy... nothing. Asked if she would send me a return label for the incorrect ring... nothing. A proof for my design? Nothing. I’m so done. I asked for a refund, which I doubt I’ll get. This has been the most frustrating experience with a company I’ve ever had. BEWARE!!! After reading so many positive reviews, I decided to go ahead and get a family crest ring from Minimalist. Big mistake. I created my own artwork in a format Melissa said would be preferable. After submitting, she told me that it would only be able to be engraved on the ring, which is not the style that I purchased. I told her what I was after, based on the style I’d chosen, and she said that was no problem. She told me that they would re-vamp my art and get back to me. A week later, I still hadn’t seen a proof, so I emailed Melissa, asking if there was anything for me to see. I promptly received a reply, stating that my ring had been shipped. I totally didn’t understand how this was possible, especially after reading so many positive reviews stating how they worked very closely with you to create your “dream ring...” I emailed Melissa to ask why I hadn’t seen a proof, with no response. 4 days later, a ring arrived via DHL. I had tried to maintain hope that it would be something I liked, since the design wasn’t complicated. When I opened it, I was shocked. It in no way resembled the design I submitted. It was a completely different crest, and it wasn’t even the style I ordered. It also had someone else’s name on it! It was the wrong size, as well. I promptly emailed Melissa, with photos of what I received compared to what I’d ordered, asking her to please rectify the situation. No response after two attempts. There’s no phone number, and since their base of operations is in Turkey, you’re completely at their mercy. Buyer BEWARE! I’m floored that this could happen based on positive reviews. My ring cost a total of $109, and it got me something useless that has no meaning to me. They also almost tripled the prices of their rings right after I ordered. Thank god I didn’t lose almost $250 instead of $109.
