There's no free pass. Each video editor (student) MUST earn their status.
For example, whenever I do a project that does not meet assignment standards exactly, I am asked to resubmit the project/assignment.
Instructor's feedback usually tells what is wrong. Also, the requests often explain how to correct a problem; simultaneously, I am instructed: If "you" are still struggling, schedule a 1-on-1 meeting with an instructor who is available next.
