The espresso is as delicious as I remember it from Messina: a distinct and robust taste. HOWEVER: while I understand that it takes a while for beans to get to me from Sicily (via NJ), everything roasted more than a few months ago, is too old. While three were fine (roasted this fall), one bag was definitely no longer fresh: The 500gr Organic was processed over a year ago: The date on the bag states "roasted June 2023!"That they mix in a bag that they couldn't sell, leaves a bad taste in my mouth, literally...
