UNTIL NOW A RELIABLE COMPANY TO BUY FROM

I have been buying from Miscota for a long time now,around 10 years,with no issues.I only buy one product,FROLICS dog food,as it is 3 times more expensive to buy from the UK.Usually it has only taken a week to arrive.But this time there have been problems.Firstly I added 2 x 1.5kg bags to the basket,I went to basket and selected a payment method I was then given only one option "continue shopping".On most web sites you can go to basket and edit or view then go back to shopping add more items,go to checkout you see what you are going to order the cost etc and then you have to click "Pay Now" ,"Confirm payment" or similar.But now on Miscota by just selecting the payment method that puts through the order.NO where does it say that by selecting a payment method you are making payment.So after I had selected the payment method 1st time,went to continue shopping and went back to the basket,selected the payment method again expecting to see an order summary I found the order had been placed again.Instead of getting 2 bags with £8 postage(which incidentally is £3 more than last year) I had unknowingly placed 2 orders for 2 bags with £8 postage each So watch out - you don't get the chance to view or edit your basket once you select a payment method you have paid.Second issue - in the past my orders have been sent out same or next day and are delivered from Spain in less than a week.This time 2 days for order to be sent out.1 day to go from Spain to The Netherlands where my orders have not moved for 5 days.Holland is one of the countries which is punishing the UK for leaving the European Union by holding back mail for no reason.If your parcels are with DHL,UPS or others then you are fine but in this case the UK carrier for my Miscota orders is Royal Mail,in previous years it has been Hermes.That means in Europe the orders are with the Dutch partner of Royal Mail who are delaying UK mail on purpose no matter what service has been used.Trouble is that from Miscota the dog food I buy is £5 per bag in the UK it is £15+ before postage.I only use FROLICS as treats so bags last a long time which gives me plenty of time to try and find somewhere else if Miscota are going to send via The Netherlands on a regular basis.
