Do not invest with Merrill Lynch. When you die, your beneficiaries have to go through loops to get their money. Even when you complain to the SEC they just write lies back to the SEC in return. They tell you things on the phone, promise to call you back and then suddenly don't take your calls anymore. My Aunt died in October 2023. It is now May 2023 and still have not paid out the distributions to the beneficiaries despite us doing every form, signed letter, etc. We were told checks were cut last month but no one has gotten them.
