Upon reading the reviews, it appeared that acquiring medications in Hungary would be straight forward and easy. I’m sad that on this case, I wasn’t successful in locating medication I needed.Consultation was easy and straight forward. I got my prescription, printed it out and went to 10+ pharmacies around the vicinity (1.5 hours I spent running around Budapest one weekday morning) just for every pharmacy staff to scoff and reject my prescription. They gave me a whole range of reasons, such as it being printed and not written, and that the signature is printed. Some of the pharmacy staff looked confused of an electronic prescription. I contacted Mobidoctor to let them know I was having issues with collecting any medication. I was suggested a location where I had already been - I went into the shop and received a “no” instead of medication. I asked in live chat for an alternative pharmacy where patients had gone and received medication before - with no reply or no chase up with the issue.It’s a real shame as the reviews I had read gave me a sense of security that I would be able to resolve medication issues while I am on holiday in Budapest. I now have wasted £32 and all I have to show for it is a piece of paper.I cannot make a comment about other countries while using this service but when Hungary is concerned I would just bare this experience in mind. Note: this review was written considering the pros and cons of Mobidoctor on this occasion. For me, there were more cons than pros when in Hungary. As a solo traveller it’s quite daunting to have to resolve something like this, so I really hoped it would be successful for me.
