We have used Monterey Animal Hospital since 2010. We moved here from North Palm Beach and Vet. went to Vet.School with Dr. Hooks! So we knew we were in great hands. We now use Dr.Moldanado who is the greatest there is!! Our little Yorkie named Korkie Had awful allergies and she was able to do her best to handle them. Then by accident we found out Korkie had Liver Cancer. She sent us to a Surgeon who operated and got it all out Then Three weeks later our Korkie had a horrible accident on a dog ramp that collapsed and she was so sick that night. I think she had internal ingeries. We called the next day and Dr.Moldanado got her in and agreed she had to be put to sleep. She was 14 1/2 years old. (Iwill love my girl forever. She was my baby). We all cried together. There was no charge for this. They were absolutely wonderful. Three weeks later we got our girl back.(she was cremated.). Four weeks later my husband had to have another dog! I really didn't want one I was grieving over Korkie!! Well we brought our Chocolate Yorkie in for his first visit and saw Dr. Moldanado. She thought we did the right thing by getting him. She said we weren't replacing Korkie but just getting a new dog. I love this little monster with all my heart. By accident he got under my husbands feet and he stepped on him. We. had to bring him in to the office. We saw Dr. Hooks We saw Dr. Hooks who thought he might have Pneumonia from this. He wasn't doing well a few days later and we brought him in to see Dr. Moldanado and she did another Xray and saw that he had a Gall Stone. He is a little puppy a few months old. Well Dr. Moldanado was on the computer all weekend and was in touch with other Veterinarians. No one ever heard of this. Well she found a company in New Jersey who makes compound drugs and they make a drug to help with gallstones. We have Reggie on this drug and now he is one year old and we will be bringing him in for his one year check up. We are praying that his gallstone has gone away or stayed the same size in the same place. We are praying he doesn't need any surgery. He doesn't seem to have any symptoms of this bothering him as yet. Praying it stays that way! Thank you Dr. Moldanado for wasting your whole weekend on our Reggie! You are the very best!!
