I paid Montredo for a watch they advertised as “in stock with 1-week delivery.”The moment the money was received, the story changed completely.They admitted they do not have the watch, had never checked availability, and were “trying to source it somewhere.” Delivery promises kept shifting: 8 days → 2 weeks → “we don’t know.”I finally cancelled the order.According to their own Terms & EU consumer law, the refund must be issued within 14 days after the cancellation request.It has now been more than 14 days, and Montredo still has not returned my money.No explanation, no timeline, no communication beyond generic copy-paste emails.This business model is fundamentally misleading:– They display watches as available when they are not– They take payment first and only then start “looking for” the product– They miss their own legally binding refund deadlines– Customer support avoids giving clear answersThis is not a premium retailer. It’s a drop-shipping scheme wrapped in luxury branding.I strongly advise avoiding Montredo.
