Azeez our guide and driver requires special mention as he not only was very well informed and communicated well, he was very helpful, flexible with last minute changes we wanted to make and he was able to provide a deep insight into Saharan and Berber culture. The land cruiser we travelled in was optimal for the kind of trip and all the overnight stays were of a high standard. The stay at the luxury camp at Erg Chiba and the sunset camel ride on the sand dunes and the photos taken by Youseff the camel handler were unforgettable. The Fes part of the trip with the visit to the medina and Ibrahim our local guides knowledge was genuinely interesting. I honestly did not find any downsides to the whole trip, which is something I am rarely able to say. If something could be improved, it is the afternoon lunches which were largely buffets at restaurants along the way. Altogether a great trip, lovely people and memorable vistas.
