Surreal interaction with the sales staff in Oxford street. Came into the store and was ignored for 10 minutes. Need to hire a top-hat for ascot (expected them to cost £39 GBP to rent in line with information on their website). They sell the hats £59 GBP. Was told that they do not rent out their hats on their own during Ascot (only the rest of the year) and that if they have any spare, they would charge £150 for the day. Baffling...
