Absolutely horrendous service AVOID…

Absolutely horrendous service AVOID AVOID AVOID!!Badgered to get the payment but then told they couldn't supply what I had paid for and told me AXSOL have the same scooter but required 450€ deposit which I refused to pay and then in the next email they said I didn't need to pay a deposit. I was then contacted by AXSOL request payment of £220 - total £267 for 5 days and delivery to and from the hotel.I was given a electric mobility scooter which was set up and plugged in when delivered to the hotel which was over 1 mile away from Disneyland Paris. When I came to use it, it had been charged over 24 hours in the main reception area where it had been delivered and it showed full charge.I was then informed by the hotel reception that the electric mobility scooter was not allowed on the shuttle bus and I would need a taxi to the gates of Disneyland Paris, which was very frustrating as motion4rent and Axsol knew where I was staying and that buses would not allow scooters but Axsol and motion4rent pushed for payment regardless. So not to feel like i was being a burden to my family I paid not knowing what was ahead of me!!!.When we all prepared to travel the mile or so to Disneyland Paris, which made me feel empowered and this would be a positive experience and not negatively impact on my family or our Disney experience, so travelling from our hotel, I sat on the scooter and followed the path for approximately 700 meters with my family walking along side and very quickly we noticed the battery had gone down to amber - half the battery was used going that short distance. We then had to turn around and go back to the hotel which obviously took time to return and upset my 11yr old and 9yr old grandchildren and delayed the start of our Disneyland Paris experience by a few hours. The battery was completely dead by the time we got to the reception and the scooter had to be left abandoned in an awkward position due to power failure.I contacted both companies and motion4rent told me I needed to contact Axsol, who phoned me a few hours later asking me to 'tweak' the scooter as In their words, there're a few things you need to 'tweak' on that scooter. I said I wasn't there to 'tweak' as I was on holiday and not wasting more time on a piece of equipment that is not fit for purpose which was back at the hotel and not currently with me due to power failure.I was told a technician was going to the hotel to check out the scooter, I said I no longer had faith in the company and their unreliable equipment and wanted it removed, and no longer required it, and requested a refunded for the rental.They refused completely, after several hours Axsol said we have checked it and there's nothing wrong with it - making out I'm a liar, which I am not. Motion4rent kept saying they could only refund if Axsol agreed.I no longer trusted their equipment to not fail me again when we tried using it to go to Disneyland Paris, I'm thankful I didn't get a taxi with the scooter to Disneyland Paris as I would have been stranded, and on top of that, they said I need to charge the battery at lunchtime BUT there is nowhere to charge a scooter in Disneyland Paris that we could see. I feel I was completely taken advantage of, knowing I was disabled and needed this equipment to enjoy my family holiday, motion4rent took advantage of my vulnerability and took my money with no regard for my welfare or safety.Absolutely disgusting, I communicated with them both constantly for days just to be constantly told you need to charge the scooter, when it had charged for 24 hours, set up by the delivery technician for Axsol. I have no idea what else they wanted me to do!!!I also spoke to the hotel receptionist and two different managers who could not confirm anyone from AXSOL had even attended the hotel to look at the scooter. I also had to apologise daily for the scooter being sat in the lobby of the hotel as I just could not trust the scooter to not fail on my again and struggled on using my walking aid which has impacted on my mobility, hands and shoulders during the holiday but was a safer and more reliable option even if extremely uncomfortable.Motion4rent was the company who I contacted and paid for the hire and they decided to subcontract this hire to a horrendous cowboy company - Axsol Shame on you all.****Not interested in your feeble excuses. I trusted you both not to fail a vulnerable disabled person who was looking forward to enjoying a holiday of a lifetime with my family and I was completely taken advantage of by you and AXSOL even when I requested my refund for the equipment failing and was refused by you both - I also requested the scooter was removed as I didn't have time to loose every day with a failing battery, I was completely ignored. I would never trust either service again and advise everyone else to avoid you as you never took any accountability!!*
