Overall, im disappointed. I was expecting significantly more guidance and support. The package was extremely expensive for the product. I don’t know what I’m doing. When I asked for the personal statement to be reviewed by admissions experienced advisor, it did not happen. I received grammar / sentence restructuring edits; I was expecting much more in depth edits to make my PS brilliant. I’m happy with it I guess, but when I asked my MD friend to critique it, he had much better critiques. For instance, he would suggest adding an experience to support this claim, or how it ties specifically to Md / DO etc, saying this sounded contrived. I was bemused with the technicality of the package. AAMCOMAS requires primaries to be sent in order to receive secondaries. AMCAS secondaries usually involve writing essays. AACOMAS primaries occasionally required essays. However, these primary essays don’t count in the primary package I purchased, despite it being a primary. I am grateful someone glanced over my ‘secondary’ for 30 seconds. Overall, I wouldn’t be so disappointed if the package wasn’t so expensive. Cost doesn’t represent equal value.
