As a result, I had to purchase a new parcel shelf myself as a replacement and requested the car dealer to refund the related cost. However, they refused, stating that this was not a mechanical issue of the vehicle.
I believe that they removed the original parcel shelf and replaced it with a non-original and unidentified one before selling the vehicle to the customer.
