From start to finish this experience exceeded my expectation. My first time to India and I wouldn’t have managed without the constant support from the motorbike expeditions team. All of them were helpful and friendly and supported me through any issues I had, including leaving my helmet on the transfers coach day 1!! My Top Tips.Make sure you get all your gear of the coach from Delhi to Bhuntar. The coach is comfy however don’t expect to get much sleep. A couple of stops mean toilet breaks are okay. Throughout the ride pay attention to the guides advice as they are looking out for you. Don’t underestimate the altitude. It has a significant effect.Accommodation whilst basic is also very comfortable and perfectly adequate and also a nice change as each nights stay is in a different area and has a different cultural backdrop.The views are stunning and the ride can be challenging but definitely worth the effort as you definitely feel a sense of achievement each day culminating in the penultimate days rise up Umling La Pass. I don’t do any other trips either before or after the expedition however others on my trip did some before and after. And they all thought worthwhile. I met with one friend from the US but made 9 others on the ride all supporting each other. I am definitely thinking of doing another of their tours to Nepal as this team really do know how to look after you. Breakfast dinner and tea each day were well organised so we always had food and water throughout the trip. My final advice is give these lads a chance and then tip them well as they are a fantastic company. All bikers for bikers
