50 days to get a golf cart shipped from Western New York to Las Vegas Nevada???? I placed my online order to ship my golf cart from Akron, NY to Las Vegas NV with Motorcycleshippers.com on June 15th. On June 16th they email me for the dimensions and VIN#. On June 17th he processes the order and give me the approximate window of pickup which is June 23rd- July 11th. On July 1st they email me again to change the pickup dates to be between 7/11 and 7/13. It wasn’t picked until July 15th. Now the new window for me to receive this golf cart in Las Vegas is another month, the new window as per their tracking website is 7/14- 8/15. Come to find out it, after it was picked up in New York, they ship it to their terminal in Pennsylvania to reload to a different carrier. Their tracking website states it left PA on 7/24, so basically 9 days to get to PA and wait to reload to a full transporter. I could have had one built from the ground up and shipped from Japan faster. Where is the management on these shipments? Does anyone pay attention to lead times of orders? If a customer was waiting a month would that raise a red flag anywhere? How about 45 days? What are the company standards and policies for average time to ship? The tracking system is a joke too. It just says picked up or left. Pizzeria’s have better tracking than this outfit. Imagine if you lived in a city where you had a short summer with only a few months to enjoy motorcycle rides? Then take out 50 days for the shipping from this company. I don’t even think they are the carriers due to the email from them stating, “The carrier notified us over the weekend that the pickup window has been adjusted” So are they just brokers? I finally received my golf cart on 8/4 from Haulbikes.com which just as I thought, was subbed out from Motorcycleshippers.com. These guys were great, and I would use them in the future for sure. But just when you thought it was over it gets better. Keep in mind I got my cart at 3pm on 8/4 then I get an email from Motorcycleshippers.com at 5:30pm on 8/4 saying that my driver plans on delivering my golf cart between 8/5-8/7. First, where’s the communication between Motorcycleshippers.com and all your subcontractors. Secondly, get a better GPS/tracking system. Not once could I see where in the country my cart was besides the PA warehouse so it’s basically a worthless tracking system.
