The cosmetic wear has nothing to do with hinge function, yet they used it to void both the standard and repair warranties.Support chat deflects to phone, phone reps have no authority, and I’ve been hung up on multiple times. No email support, no escalation path, no accountability.Motorola’s repair warranty is supposed to protect against the same failure after service. Instead, they apply the same cosmetic damage exclusion as the standard warranty — even if the damage is unrelated.This feels like a systemic tactic to avoid honoring repairs.
