My purchase was on Thursday the 7th of April and I was quoted 5-7 days delivery time scale. Working days was not quoted to me. So expected arrival of the engine by the 14th of April.I phoned them on Thursday the 14 of April while working and was told the issue for the late delivery was due to easter bank holidays even though the first bank holiday was the 15th of April 8 days post ordering. I was promised delivery on Wednesday the 20th of April and I confirmed that a person would be present for its arrival at the garage.On Wednesday the 20th of April, while in Berlin, I received a phone call no message was left. I did suspect it was from them and returned the call. I was informed the engine was being dispatched for delivery on the 21st of April . I knew no one would be present at the delivery address on this date so had to find an alternative delivery address for the engine. On doing so I phoned motors in motion back and arranged the delivery to this new address. It was actually delivered on this date to the new address.As such the engine was not delivered within the 3-5 days promised on ordering/ payment.I confirm that long engine was used in my request on your website (1st choice) not complete engine. My understanding of long engine is There are many types of long blocks, but includes crankshafts, cylinder heads, camshafts, and valve trains that serve to move the cylinder. As a rule, a long block includes not only the fuel system and all the electrical components, as well as engine and exhaust intake components.As such I believe the engine supplied is not to the description of long engine that I requested. I am presently asking my credit company who I paid then with to becoming involved and considering the use of a lawyer in this matter. however the lack on any communication from them including an invoice will be an issue in this.
