In March my husband and I searched the country for a corner suite for our sunroom in the hope we would have a new suite for the summer. When we went to Moy furniture I saw a suite which had the correct seating height/depth and back height which suited us both. I was informed by John that he could order a corner suite in the measurements I required and reassured me that my other requirements were possible so I agreed to order the corner suite after picking the fabric I fancied. John stated the delivery would be about 12 weeks so I was happy I would have lovely new corner suite for my sun room for the summer. Unfortunately there was no arrival of my new suite despite numerous calls to Moy furniture centre. After 20 weeks I got word that my corner suite was to arrive, I was asked to pay the remainder of the balance (which was a substantial amount of money) which I did. When the suite arrived it was far from what I was assured I would receive. I was extremely disappointed and telephoned Moy Furniture and they agreed to collect the corner suite the next day. With quite a few telephone calls and emails, which were not answered in a timely manor I went to the shop. I spoke to Sean and under no circumstances would he give me a refund even though I did not receive the product I had ordered. He wanted me to pick another suite in the store but unfortunately there wasn’t another corner suite that we liked. I then ended up having to pick a 3 and 2 seater (even though I set out to get a corner suite) which cost me more money and involved another wait of 10 weeks. Finally in November I have a new suite for my sunroom (at the start of winter). I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service I have received from a family business and will certainly not return. I also feel I was not given any option but to order another suite in the store after spending such a substantial amount of money and not given a refund. The best thing about Moy furniture were the delivery guys who were extremely mannerly and I am sure are not appreciated for the work they do
