Great Experience with David Cheung

David has changed my life I travelled from Glasgow to Birmingham in March for a consultation with David after years and years of hating how my under eyes looked and thankfully, not having luck with other surgeons in my area. I had done a lot of research and David came highly recommended by so many. I knew straight away David was the surgeon for me after the consultation. My consultation with him was around 45 mins whereas with other surgeons I was very rushed. David took the time to assess my eyes, the anatomy and whether I would be suitable for a lower blepharoplasty - which I was. David took the time to explain in detail the intricacies of my eye anatomy and the risks involved in the procedure.I decided to book my surgery for around 6 months after my consultation and during that time period I had around a million questions which David always took the time to answer in a timely fashion. I found his approach to really put me at ease around having the surgery. When it came to the surgery day I was so surprised at how quick the actual surgery was! I think I fell asleep for around 15 minutes but was awake for the remainder and just felt quite out of it / did not register what was going on so I continuously felt very comfortable throughout. Anyone who is wanting this surgery but is nervous about being awake then I just want you to know that it is absolutely fine. David and his team were amazing at making me feel really calm and comfortable.I was provided with everything I needed to ensure that I had a swift recovery. David checked in with me post surgery and our follow up appointment also showed that I was healing really well and right on track.I'm still experiencing some residual swelling which is very normal at this stage but I am so excited to see my final results after the three months! I already have so much confidence in myself and I wish I had done this sooner.
