I had a number of consultations with other eye specialists and I have to say that Mr Cheung was by far, the one who made me feel the most relaxed and confident.The initial consultation lasted an hour and was very thorough. Mr Cheung has a friendly relaxed manner.I opted for sedation, which was totally pain-free, with none of the after-effects I've had previously with a general anaesthetic. I was monitored for just over an hour post-surgery, with no problems.I had my stitches removed 10 days later. I am particularly nervous about having stitches removed, however, it was nowhere near as bad as I had imagined!Due to the Covid situation, my 2nd post-op appointment had to be delayed, however, Mr Cheung always replied to my questions via email very promptly.I am very pleased with the result and have no hesitation recommending Mr Cheung to anyone considering eye surgery.
