Group handling of cases, delays, luck of representation.

I feel obliged to warn other vulnerable families, looking for help, of MSRS malpractice. I hope my feedback will help investigate problems properly, re-train staff and improve processes, which currently facilitate passing case from person to person, creating delays and not completing representations. We asked MSRS for help in asylum claim back in November 2024, partner had already filled initial claim to Home Office. In order to submit extensive documentation showing family bonds and ties in UK (me and children are British) we needed legal representation. After initial talk with David Aung (marketing), I have spoken with solicitor - Mark, who confirmed legal grounds and willingness to file asylum claim representation. We payed £1500 and started gathering evidence. David created a group chat, and soon later informed me that Shefa Begum will be the solicitor "assisting" in our case. Surprised with the change I asked to speak with Shefa. Once again, she knew it all, told me what will be placed on representation and directed me to prepare more documents. So we did - both of us written extensive statements, explaining family bonds, partner's medical records following severe burns, school letters, GP records, continues prison visits, prison tutors support letters and many others - handed in December 2024. 27th December - Renee Kang and Aldrina Sopa (para legal) joined chat. Since then, I did not hear from Shefa. Aldrina seemed to take over. I kept asking when we will submit representation? December, January, still nothing happened. 12th February - Home Office declined asylum claim. Despite gathered evidence MSRS (over 2 months time) never filed representation. Our chance of staying together was taken away from us. We were devastated. I complained, Rene called and convinced me that they will still represent us to prevent his removal from UK - partner had extradition order. February, March, April, May - no representation made.3rd June- final extradition hearing - judge signed partner's extradition, giving 7 days time to appeal. I reached to MSRS asking to at least file an appeal as there will not be any more deportation representation needed. That was our last chance. Aldrina acknowledged my message. 2 days later she notified 3 colleagues - Rene Kang, Mark Lim and Iridium Karina. 4 people aware of short time left to appeal. Unfortunately, as expected, nothing was done. Knowing MSRS, we desperately looked for a good solicitor to help us and were recommended Mrs Magdalena Motyl - I sent all evidence to her and within 2 days she prepared and submitted the appeal, providing our family with more time together and a chance, which MSR solicitors took away from us. I cannot move back time, but strongly believe if we had a good solicitor in November, our family would be represented in asylum claim, giving us fair chance to still be together.11th June- I informed MSRS that appeal window has closed. Aldrina "assured me that she was in the process of finalising the representation", that is regardless of time frame given by the judge. Devastated by MSRS handling of our case, I filed internal complaint - picked by director Andrew Berk, who delegated Aldrina to respond - that document shown numerous people involved, long delays in preparing representation, which was never submitted. It also named 4 people, who knew about final days to appeal and did nothing. Mr Berk concluded, that the team did well, we are not eligible for any refund, and what is even more shocking, stated that we had never instructed them to represent us in asylum claim! What more can be said? At MSRS we felt like a ball thrown around, from Mark and Shefa convincing us they can file asylum claim, through months of uncertainty and group chats to Andrew denying the facts.I hope this review will somehow protect families and help MSRS learn from their mistakes, preventing harming other clients. Mr Berk, It is not about money, it is about people's lives, including children, who are loosing loving parents. MSRS you need to do better, I hope my feedback will help.
