I am sharing my experience with MSR Law Firm because I feel very disappointed and let down. I went to their office in August for help with a court case. I met Mr Mark Lim and Mr Satnam, who were very confident and told me they would take care of everything. Based on this, I paid £2,400 in full on the same day.After I paid, communication became very poor. I had to keep chasing the firm for updates, and most of the time I heard nothing. Later, I was told my case had been passed to another solicitor, Mr Jo Lee, without any proper discussion with me. He contacted me for the first time on a Friday evening and said he had already written my defence, even though we had never spoken about my case. This made me feel very uncomfortable.I met this solicitor for the first time on the morning of the court hearing. As someone who does not speak English as a first language, I felt stressed, confused, and unsupported. I had been promised support and reassurance, but instead I felt rushed and unprepared. I was also told that if I lost the case, my situation as a student would be explained to the judge. This did not happen, and I lost the case.Afterwards, I asked for a refund because I felt the service did not match what was promised. After a long time, the firm agreed to refund only 41%. It has now been 45 days since this was agreed, and I still have not received the money. I have chased several times, but I am now being ignored.What upset me most was being told that Mr Satnam is part of the marketing team, not the legal team, even though he was the person who met me at the office and advised me. This left me feeling confused and misled.Overall, I feel that this firm cares more about money than about their clients. My personal experience made me feel taken advantage of and unsupported during a very stressful time. I would not recommend this firm based on my experience.
