I placed and paid for an order with MTImpex on the 7th of August of 2025 for €23,85. At checkout, there was a note saying “minimum order €100,” but since the system allowed me to complete payment for less, I assumed this was only the threshold for free shipping.A day later, MTimpex told me, by email, they would not ship my order unless I placed additional items to reach €100. I requested immediate cancellation and refund, but they refused to cancel the order right away. Instead, they said their system will cancel it after 3 days, and only then will they process the refund, which they claim may take up to 10 more business days.It's outrageous that this company accepts payments for orders that they know beforehand they will not fulfill and then hold onto customer's money for 2 weeks. This could potentially constitute a misleading commercial practice under the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (2005/29/EC) and may breach the requirement under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 13(1), to refund “without undue delay” when the seller cannot supply the goods.I opened a dispute with PayPal to get my money back and filled a complaint with the Authority for Consumers and Markets in the Netherlands (ACM). In retaliation, MTimpex disabled my account. What a petty company.Not only is MTimpex doing shady and outright illegal commercial activities they also don't honor warranty for their products. If you have any issue with a product you will be on your own.I would advise everyone to stay away from this company. There are MUCH better alternatives. STAY AWAY!
