We sailed just a few minutes late, due to passengers arriving late, on a full boat. The Catamaran left Calpe Marina on a lovely warm evening en route to Mascarat Marina, where we turned for our homeward journey adjacent to the sea farm and just as the sun was sinking on the horizon behind us. Scores of couples enjoyed the comfort of the cargo nets towards the bow, others filled each of the seats on the sides or towards aft of the Catamaran, each with stunning views as the trip unfolded. The efficient and attentive crew poured Cava as happy couples snapped photographs of the last of the sun's rays as it caught the Peñon de Ifach and hit the sea in striking silver streaks. The gentle sound of the sea breaking over the bow and lapping beneath us, was punctuated by the excited call of sea birds, and the whispering wind as we neared Calpe Marina, with the soft lights and evening bustle along the sea front. The trip was a little longer than the advertised 90 minutes, all for an extremely reasonable price of 22€ each. Probably the best value for money anywhere in the region.
