Going through Murray Travel my partner and I recently experienced the holiday of a lifetime to Canada. Moving on to Vancouver we joined a rail and road tour of the Canadian Rockies and Vancouver Island.The Rockie Mountaineer is an experience not to be missed - if you can afford to travel Gold Leaf for the best views and service.Staying in some fabulous hotels there was time at each one to have both culinary and sightseeing experiences all included as part of the tour. For us this included riding on an Ice Explorer onto the Columbia Icefield, a float-plane ride from Whistler and a visit to Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island.
