A couple of months ago, I paid $10 for the Muvi pay-as-you-go streaming service. After a couple of tests, I decided that it wasn’t for me, so I moved on. I haven’t used the service and won’t be using it. Yesterday, I noticed a second payment of $99 taken from my bank account. Expecting this to be a mistake, I contacted their customer service and was told, “We have discontinued the Pay As You Go plan, and you have been navigated to the standard plan.”I had a second conversation with a customer service advisor who said they would not refund me. This is for a service that I didn’t sign up for and did not agree to. Apparently, they emailed me to confirm the change; I did not receive this. After a bad Trustpilot review they have now agreed to return my money. This has been a complete waste of my time, and I would have appreciated my money back without all the stress. Please take note, Muvi.
