Be careful of signing up with no win, no fee as my colleague pulled out of a NWNF agreement and was liable not only for the fees of the solicitors but also the fees for the company who was being sued.Ended up in Court with a very sympathetic Judge who did their best under legislation to not charge my colleague more than what was deemed reasonable. The fees for the opponent’s lawyer’s should have been £17,000 but the Judge awarded £10,000 and my colleague had to pay this amount. The Judge was apologetic but said that the small print does state that if you pull out, you pay their fees and the legal costs of the opposing side too! SCAM so beware…..
