I had a mixed experience with MyHeritage.
I signed up for the 14-day free trial but unfortunately forgot to cancel it, and I was automatically charged around €119 for a yearly subscription. The refund process was quite slow at first – it took over two weeks just to get a proper response.
However, once I followed up and contacted them again, their support team reached out and offered a partial refund (€30) or an extension. I chose the partial refund and kept the subscription.
To be fair, the platform itself is actually quite interesting and useful – especially for exploring family history. In my case, a family member will likely make good use of it.
That said, I would strongly recommend being very careful with the trial and cancellation timing.
Overall: good product, but the billing and support response time could definitely be improved.
