I have been learning with Maiko for about 2 years. I had already done several years of class learning so had a reasonable knowledge of grammar and vocabulary but zero confidence in speaking and listening. I told Maiko this was what I wanted to concentrate on so this is what we have done. My lessons are lots of chatting in Japanese and Maiko is very patient with my stumbling language. She also identifies points of grammar I need to revise it practice. With her help my confidence in speaking Japanese continues to improve.
