If you are thinking about using coastal moving company for your move please don’t! Run for your dear life because they are the worst company I have ever had a deal with**I spoke with one of their agents about moving my stuffs from Virginia to California and gave him a list of the items I have including the furnitures and mattresses and he specifically told me everything would still be within the minimum. He gave me a total cost of $3379 paid a deposit of $1700 dollars and was told I would pay the first half of the balance on pick up and the other half on delivery. So connected me with GES transportation and the driver came and told me he was going to do another estimate of over $6000 when he saw my stuffs and I told him the company already gave me an estimate but he was furious and said my things was more than that and threatened that I would loose my 1700 deposit if I refused to let him pick it. I called the company and they changed the whole narrative, they told me my minimum was 300 cubit and seems like my things are more than that. So I let them know I gave the agent I made reservation with the list of the things I have and he made him realized it’s still within the minimum that in fact I can add additional 30 boxes and it would still be okay. So I think the agent lied to me about my estimate, he just want me to pay the deposit which I’m thinking belongs to the company and then leave me to deal with the driver when he comes. At the end of the day, I had to add additional $1500 so he could pick some more items but had to leave behind my sofa, recliner chair and TV stand because then I would have to add more money. Now to the delivery, I was told he would deliver in a few days. He picked up on Saturday and asked me my earliest availability to receive my stuffs and I told him Monday or Tuesday. I am typing this review on a Wednesday and I haven’t gotten my things yet, the driver hasn’t been picking my calls not replying my text so I called coastal movers again and they said he hasn’t even started coming yet that he would call me at the beginning of next week to let me know when he would be delivering. I am in an empty house and don’t even have a clue of when I should be expecting my stuffs. Coastal movers and GES transport are the worst companies I have had a deal with! IF YOU LOVE YOURSELF AND YOUR MENTAL HEALTH PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. THEY ARE VERY UNRELIABLE, UNTRUTHFUL AND DON’T CARE ABOUT HOW URGENT YOU NEED YOUR STUFFS, THEY JUST TAKE THEIR TIME. VERY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM.
