Got a prepaid card as reimbursement for a manufacture defect on a Midea U AC was able to use card only once after that my card got locked and received a weird message through Apple Pay notification that card details had changed. After trying to figure what had happened I tried using it at different vendors it would decline I also tried through PayPal/Apple Pay but nothing worked. I only found out today that card was locked due to “security issues” which was a headache to go through their automated phone line tried twice to reach an actual agent but it hangs up on me every time I get to transfer portion. I’m calling within business hours mind you so no it’s not past 5pm I made attempts at 3pm. No where on site can I submit a ticket to get card unlocked/replaced. This feels very much like a scam like here is money that you are owed your only able to use it once and boom the rest you’ll never see. I hate how I got strung along this entire process Midea U should have sent checks or something else this is disgusting.
