I received a $25 MasterCard debit card from Raymour & Flanigan. Followed the instructions to register and use the card, but it has been declined by every merchant I have tried to use it for, even the merchants featured on the myprepaidcenter website, which are supposed to give you 5% cash back on your purchases. Calling the customer service numbers listed on the card and website did not provide useful advice or a connection to a live customer service representative (even when given the option to choose " * " to reach a customer service rep) or any resources that could lead to any resolution. This has happened to me several times when I have tried to take advantage of merchant programs offering incentives or rebates in the form of debit credit cards. Moving forward, I will no longer respond to these types of promotions. I can only offer the details of my experience to others so they can hopefully avoid a similarly bad experience.
