Good idea, and was fun while it lasted. However after buying a share in a horse for my grandfather for his birthday, we were informed a couple of weeks later the horse was considering being sold.We got ONE race in which the horse placed and my grandfather won some money on a bet. However after that the horse was sold and we were returned a meager £16 of the 100+ invested after only having the share for a couple of months. Heard of other similar companies doing the exact same thing. If they kept your horse the year, would be worth it as a gift maybe for some fun. We did not buy it to 'Own a horse' or make a profit of prizemoney etc, because you never will.
