Don’t hire them to manage your property. They are not registered to do business or legal property management in almost all of the states in which they operate. Their low commission quotes are deceiving, because they charge guests “management fees” which undercuts your net profits. Speaking with cleaning staff, it seems Rental Advisor overcharges for cleaning fees, pocketing the excess and giving low salaries to cleaners. These practices set your rates higher than they would be, which makes it harder to compete for bookings and more occupancy. In our management contract they were not transparent about fees. Worst of all, they are careless about using safe practices to protect homeowners from getting fined by the local government.
