I am writing this review to provide feedback on my experience with "myrentaladvisor.com". I originally booked my stay with a 3rd party (didn't know they were a 3rd party) and got an email from Rental Advisor confirming my booking and asking to fill out a form with pertinent information regarding our stay. As soon as I completed this form, I got a "canned" email stating my reservation had been cancelled. NO explanation, just cancelled. I called them and they informed me that the unit we booked was no longer available as the property was being sold. They even told me that they had talked with the 3rd party that morning and had informed them of the sale. I don't hold Rental Advisor responsible for the that. But I explained my situation and the representative and asked for some form of help. She looked to see if she had some other unit for me to rent, but informed me that they did not have anything available for the dates we need only partial dates and at a much higher rate. I explained that did not help me and asked what could be done. She told me to call VRBO, they might be able to help me. Just want to say, I have used them before and I did go to VRBO website and will use them for all future bookings. I was able to communicate directly with the property owner to get my questions answered prior to booking. This company does NOT have the travelers concerns as a priority.
