I ordered a toilet seat, when it arrived the outer box was dented, when I opened the inner box, it was all undone,and dented.on the bottom flap, the tape was cerated so was not sealed down, I was told the seat would come in a plastic bag all sealed up, and if I opened it, and anything was wrong with it, they would not take it back.It was not even in a plastic bag, all loose sliding all over the place, I did not know if the seat had a crack or damage on it, so I asked to send it back.Ellie who was very nice told me I would get my money back of £129.00. price I paid, when I got my Bank statement yesterday, they had given me £10.00. short allegedly.I rang Richard to ask him the reason, he told me it was the cost of the carrier, and their was nothing wrong with the seat, he told me it was in a plastic bag, I told him it was all loose in the box, I have got pictures of it, he told me I could re purchase the toilet seat, and he would give me the £10.00. back.I said I would think about it, I am 78yrs of age, and asked him for the measurements of the toilet seat, as I had only given him the size of the toilet when I ordered the seat.He promised me he would send me the measurements today, I got a e mail from Richard saying he had hunted high and low and could not find the measurements, I told him he had said he had the seat so why could he not measure it for me.Ellie & Charlie were very nice, lovely people, but Richard is very unprofessional allegedly in my opinion.The carrier left the box in my green house, was asked to if I was out, I was in, my car was near my back door, and they just left it, and never told me the box had ben damaged, but Ellie told me they rang the company to tell them.In my opinion the carrier should have paid for the seat to be delivered to me, as allegedly I was told the box was damaged by them.I would never ever deal with this company again, shocking to treat me like this and to keep some money back when I am a pensioner and non of this was my fault, I would have kept the toilet seat if it had not arrived damaged, and in a plastic bag, spoken to other bathroom companies who say items should be in a sealed plastic bag, so they can be re sold again if any problems, not sold loose like mine was.I would avoid this company.I had a idea when I got a reply by e mail, from Richard, their would be some excuse not to give me the seat measurements.Unsatisfied Customer.
