Early last year in May, I was pulled over for drink driving. I was charged and due to appear in court 4 weeks later. Without driving I think I would have lost my job. So I searched the internet for drink drive solicitors as there was some issues with the breathalyser machine in the station. After searching the internet I came across a firm called MAJ law, firstly I spoken to Conner Johnstone, I think he is the son of the owner. He sold me a dream. Great sales man. So I instructed MAJ Law to represent me at my court hearing, (and never spoke with Conner again, I was passed round there office like the bad penny, no updates constantly chasing.) after a few weeks of back and too we ended up in court with me pleading not guilty as there was issues with the calibration. My case was adjourned for a further few months and listed to appear in front of a district judge due to the complexity of the issues that was raised. Again we went back and to with MAJ law and discussed the evidence the police had provided, MGDD form, witness statement and video footage from arresting officer. As there was zero issue with the procedure or MGDD form MAJ Law seem to have lost interest and didn’t want to explore any other actions. As I Dont think they have the full knowledge they think they have. The only action I actually wanted to explore was the fact the machine calibration was out of date and not functioning correctly. The day before the trial MAJ Law contacted me and advised me to plead guilty as there isn’t anyway the machine could be out off calibration as they had spoken with there expert. (Later I found out there is only one expert still around in the Uk and this case hadn’t crossed his desk) so it appears that MAJ Law had lied to me. I was working away at the time so it was very hard to make that decision, especially less than 12 hours before the trial. So I stuck to my guns and pleaded not guilty. This was then adjourned for a case management hearing. When I arrived home from my trip, I had lost all trust with MAJ law and wanted a 2nd opinion, so search the internet again. I came across a company called national motoring lawyers. First contact was with a lady called Sandra Cooper, we had a long conversation and at first I felt I was being sold the dream again as before with Conner. After I explained everything to Mrs Cooper, what I was charged with, what issue’s I’ve face etc…. Mrs cooper advised me with lots of information off what should have happened against what has happened and also advised in which direction we could go from here, this is even before I had instructed NML. Mrs Cooper said have a think about which way you would like to go. After the phone call I still had doubt whether I was being sold the dream, but shortly after the call ended, Mrs Cooper followed up with a very intensive and detailed email which made me feel this was the company for me. Then I instructed NML to take over my case from MAJ Law and there wasn’t any regrets from making that decision. I was then assigned to case worker 7, the brilliant William. Who answered my every question or doubt and reassured me every step of the way. From that very first phone call to the very end, NML left no stone unturned. Anything I suggested was taken serious and not ignored. There was late night phone calls constant emails and always an update when needed. I can not thank everyone enough that played apart in my case. Sandra cooper, William, Laura Heywood, Dr Mundy and Philip Lucas. Without this company I would have lost my licence. I’m not saying they can always get the results you want but they certainly can pull off nothing less than a miracle. If things wouldn’t have gone the way we would have liked I would still have felt that I had got my moneys worth from the legal team. This company is the heavy weights in this league, and there is no other company that match anywhere near this team. True brilliance.
