A frustrating day

Successfully booked outward trip Exeter to Bristol Airport for myself to pick up 83 year old visitor from Berlin with luggage. When tried to book return trip for two, site refused to let me enter my card details. Decided to visit post offices in town as understood they sold NE tickets. First PO closed down, second had long queues. Travel agent suggested I rang NE. Returned home and tried one last time and it worked! Perhaps it was because I had naively signed up for Time Rewards which I have since unsubscribed from as they inundated me with emails and I realised I risked an £18 a month subscription. Life is complicated enough without all that!
